This unique antique marble fireplace is a very special one! The marble species Sarrancolin is a special species with royal allure and was named 'royal quarries' in 1692. The marble species has been won in the Hautes-Pyrénées. King Louis XIV found this marble species so beautiful that he made a number of shades of this kind in the Palace of Versailles. The colors make this fireplace so unique. It is a mixture of cream, yellow, pink, gray and green and there are red veins and white calcite. A chimney that tells a story and exhale history!
