Information
A very unique and exclusive antique mantelpiece made of carrara marble from the quarries of Carrara, a village in Italy. Carrara is a very exclusive and beautiful type of marble. This neo-classistic chimney is of high quality, dates from the period 1770-1840 and has the right proportions. It is a beautiful mantelpiece with a lot of sculpture. The top consists of three layers with beautiful lines. The front part is equipped with various decorated round ornaments and the decorative middle tablet has a decorated rosette. The legs are engraved with flutes that are characteristic of the neo-classistic style. Unlike the Louis XV chimneys, this chimney is tighter with no curves. A very special fireplace that would fit well in a neo-classical house, canal house in Amsterdam or mansion!
