Beautiful colorful antique fireplace of the unique Sarrancolin marble. This 'royal' type of marble was popular because of its great wealth of colors and red flame motifs and in the time of Louis XIV the quarries had such a heyday that they were considered royal from 1692. Sarrancolin can therefore be found in the most beautiful show rooms of Versailles. This fireplace dates from the 19th century and is in the style of Louis XVI.
