Very exclusive antique marble fireplace from Carrara marble. Carrara marble is a very famous type of marble and is recognizable by the white color with light veins. This antique mantelpiece dates from the beginning of the 19th century (1830 - 1850) and is in the style of Louis XV. The characteristics of a Louis XV chimney are the many curls, rounds and decorations. The chimney is in the middle of the front part equiped with an opulent ornament with acanthus leaves and the sides are provided with scallops and also acanthus leaves again.
