This special and unique antique marble fireplace comes from Paris and dates back to the 19th century. This type of chimney is also called demi-luna. In the time of Louis XVI these chimneys were common. The mantelpiece is richly decorated with ornaments and gilded bronze decorations in the fringe part and on the legs. A unique example due to the special color scheme and marble type. The marble is Breche Verte de Sarravezza, named after a village near Carrara in Tuscany.
