A beautifully carved antique French limestone fireplace from the era of Louis XVI, 18th century! The special feature of this chimney is the so-called "contre-coeur". What is contre-coeur? That is the sheet of the front section that runs inside. Really exceptional, because you do not often see this type of fireplace. The top is beautifully worked with various sculptures including rosettes. A very nice fireplace that would fit into many interiors!
